Whether you are interested in increasing your own productivity or the productivity of others, it all begins with self-awareness. Most of us look at ourselves through "rose-colored glasses." Using available tools such as psychometric assessments is almost a must. Seeking the opinion of others to enhance our vision is equally valuable.
One of the most significant findings I have made in the last 10 years is the value understanding myrself and recognizing what can be changed and what cannot, making decisions about what I want to improve and what I want to manage and always stepping forward.
We have written a book on Productivity and how to get. I want to share some of it with you so that it might "Peak" your interest. The title of the book is "The Target-The Secret to Superior Performance." Tate Publishing is working on a release date, late 2009. I will keep you informed as the date firms. In the meantime, Step 1) to achieving improved productivity is Self-Awareness. Do you have it? How can you get it? What can you do with it?
Keep tuned in and if you have examples of how Self-Awareness has worked on not worked, I would like to hear about it.
